Item is not seen
Can't see an item on the menu
Check one of the following:
1. Items Section > Check this item in not hidden
2. Items Section > Check that this item is assigned to at least one category
3. Menus Section > Check which menu is currently active and then head on to the Items section and check if this item is tagged for this menu
What is the difference?
Item Archive vs. Item Hide
To archive an item means to keep it in your items list without displaying it in the Prep App or Client App menus. For example, you might upload an item with an image and description that you are not currently selling, but you don’t want to delete it entirely.
On the other hand, “hide an item” is intended for temporary daily use. When you hide an item, it will be immediately removed from the Client App menus, but it will remain visible in the Prep App menu with a reddish background as a reminder. This is useful for items that are currently out of stock or have been completed, ensuring clients do not mistakenly attempt to order them.
Summary of Archive Item:
– The item will be hidden from the Client App menus.
– The item will be hidden from the Prep App items menu.
– The item will remain visible in the Admin > Items section with a red background.
– Items can only be archived from the Admin > Items section.
Summary of Hide Item:
– The item will be hidden from the Client App menus.
– The item will be visible in the Prep App items menu but will be marked as hidden.
– A notification will be added to the item in the Prep App menu.
– The item can be hidden from both the Admin and Prep App.
