lightbulb What it's for
Guests who don’t read your menu’s language can flip the whole menu — titles, descriptions, category text, even note chips — into their own language on the fly. When the menu language differs from theirs, the app proactively offers to translate. It’s built for tourists and multilingual clientele.
settings Set it up (Admin)
- 1During setup, set your menu’s base language in the “Menu Language” field.
- 2Staff can also translate their POS/KDS views via the “AI Menu Translator” (“AI”) sheet.
- 3Translations are generated automatically — there’s no manual per-string entry.
smartphone How guests use it (Client)
- 1On entry, if the menu language differs, the guest is asked “Would you like to translate it?”.
- 2They open the Menu Translator, toggle it on and pick a target language.
- 3The whole menu re-renders in that language, remembered for next time.
