An Announcement is a short message you broadcast to every guest in the app as a banner — “Serving time is about 20 minutes today” or “Gluten-free bread is sold out”. It’s a fast way to set expectations or flag a temporary condition without contacting anyone individually.
settings Set it up (Admin)
- 1Tap the Announcement button (on Quick Menu Tasks or the Dashboard) to open “Business Announcement”.
- 2Type your message (up to 100 characters) and tap Save.
- 3It turns active; your order screen shows the live message with an Update button.
- 4Clear the text and save to remove it.
smartphone How guests use it (Client)
- 1The message appears as a scrolling banner with a bullhorn icon at the top of the guest app.
- 2It stays visible across pages while an announcement is set.
- 3Guests can’t dismiss or configure it — it’s purely informational.
