The Pizza & Burger Builders turn a plain item into a guided “build your own” flow. Guests visually add and remove toppings, pick any mandatory options, and — for pizza — apply a topping to the whole pie or to just the left or right half, each half priced by its “Price for half”. It’s a delightful, mistake-proof way to customise.
settings Set it up (Admin)
- 1On the Item form, under the Item Type Selector, choose “Pizza”, “Burger” or “Other”.
- 2Tap “Sample” to preview the builder in a side drawer before committing.
- 3Attach Multiple Choices as the add/remove toppings and a Single Choice as the mandatory step.
- 4For half-pizza pricing, set a “Price for half” on each topping option.
smartphone How guests use it (Client)
- 1On a builder item the guest taps “Open the ‘Pizza Builder’” (or Burger Builder) instead of the plain extras button.
- 2The builder shows stacked cards: a required-options step, an add-to-whole card, and — for pizza — LEFT and RIGHT half cards plus a “What to remove?” card.
- 3Toppings on a half charge the half price; selections appear as chips, and the guest can even build another in one tap.
info Limits & good to know
- chevron_rightOnly Pizza and Burger builders are live; “Other” means the standard extras flow (no builder).
- chevron_rightHalf & half (left/right) is pizza-only — burgers get the whole-item flow.
- chevron_rightHalf pricing needs a “Price for half” on the option; without it the half falls back to the regular price.
- chevron_rightBuilders don’t apply to Meal Combo items.
- chevron_rightThe toppings and options come from the same Multiple/Single Choices used elsewhere.
