lightbulb What it's for
Turn an open order into a QR code the guest scans to pay from their own phone — no card terminal needed. Staff can fold in the table’s other unpaid orders, add a tip, and confirm the guest’s details before generating; the same link can be sent by WhatsApp if they’re not at the counter.
settings Set it up (Admin)
- 1On the order, tap “QR Payment Code” to open the payment-request dialog.
- 2Confirm the client name and mobile number (pre-filled when known).
- 3Optionally combine the table’s other unpaid orders and add a tip.
- 4Tap “Create QR link”, then show the QR or send it via WhatsApp.
point_of_sale How staff use it (POS)
- 1The guest scans the QR (or opens the WhatsApp link) on their phone.
- 2They land on the payment page for that total and pay.
- 3On success the order is marked paid; a staged tip is cleared if they don’t pay.
info Limits & good to know
- chevron_rightCombining bills only offers orders from the same table.
- chevron_rightA tip added here is saved on the order when the link is created, and reverted if it goes unpaid.
- chevron_rightSending by WhatsApp needs the guest’s mobile number on the order.
- chevron_rightThe total is computed server-side (1+1-aware) to avoid double-counting.
