Ordering several of the same dish with different tweaks? Guests can duplicate the current item instead of rebuilding it — copying it exactly or opening a fresh customization. Each copy is its own numbered line (“Item #2”) so options and notes stay independent.
settings Set it up (Admin)
- 1No setup — it’s a built-in guest cart behavior.
- 2(The admin’s own “Duplicate” action copies a menu item in your catalog — a different feature.)
smartphone How guests use it (Client)
- 1In the item, the guest taps “Add another item of the same kind?”.
- 2They choose “Same as this item” or “Please let me customize”.
- 3Each copy shows as “Item #{n}” with its own delete.
