A course-pacing signal set by staff at order time: it tells the kitchen to prepare nothing yet and wait for the waiter’s “fire” command, so courses hit the table on cue. It’s a staff-only instruction — distinct from the guest-selectable Serve Relaxed.
settings Set it up (Admin)
- 1Build the order in the POS and tap “Finalize Order”.
- 2Flip the “Fire Mode” toggle on — the label changes to “Wait For Fire!”.
- 3Place the order; it’s saved with a fire-mode flag.
- 4A fire icon then marks the order on the POS overview and the KDS card.

- 1Nothing extra is shown to the guest — it’s a kitchen instruction.
- 2They simply experience courses arriving when staff release them.
info Limits & good to know
- chevron_rightFire Mode is captured when the order is created; there’s no on-screen “release” button — the go-command is given verbally, the app just flags the hold.
