lightbulb What it's for
Future Orders let a guest order now but schedule it for a later date and time, so it’s ready (or delivered) exactly when they want it. Great for pre-ordering lunch, booking a delivery slot, or ordering ahead to skip the wait.
settings Set it up (Admin)
- 1There’s no separate switch — Future Orders are available whenever Take-Away or Delivery is on and a payment provider is connected.
- 2Set your weekly operating hours; the guest’s date/time picker only offers valid open windows.
- 3Scheduled orders arrive on your order cards with a Future Order chip and countdown.
smartphone How guests use it (Client)
- 1On the landing screen the guest taps “Future Order?” and chooses Takeaway or Delivery.
- 2They pick a date and an available hour, with an optional remark.
- 3They tap “Start my order”, build it, and check out — the order shows a “Scheduled for” chip.
