lightbulb What it's for
The same item can carry a different price on each time-based menu — Breakfast, Lunch, Happy Hour, Late Night. When that menu is live, guests see the menu’s price instead of the normal List Price. It’s daypart pricing (a €6 Happy-Hour cocktail that’s €9.50 later) without duplicating the item.
settings Set it up (Admin)
- 1First create the time-based menu (title + from/to hours + colour) in the Menus section.
- 2Open a saved item’s price dialog and scroll to the “Menu Price” section.
- 3Tick each menu you want the item on and type its menu-specific price, then “Update”.
- 4A live discount % and effective price are shown as you type.
smartphone How guests use it (Client)
- 1While a menu is live, the browse screen shows a banner with the menu’s title and hours (e.g. “Happy Hour Menu (17:00–19:00)”).
- 2Only items on the active menu appear, each at its menu price where set.
- 3The price simply changes — there’s no per-item menu label.
