lightbulb What it's for
Order Tracking gives guests a live, self-service view of how far along their food is — updating in real time as staff advance each item — so they’re not left wondering or flagging down a server. It cuts “where’s my order?” interruptions and sets clear expectations.
settings Set it up (Admin)
- 1Staff work the order queue and switch between the POS / KDS / DELZ displays from the “Choose display” selector.
- 2Each item’s card changes colour as it’s advanced — orange when started, green when ready, purple when delivered.
- 3Tap the green “Set as Done” button on an order card to mark it delivered (it flips to “Revert” for undo).
- 4Order cards summarise progress with a status chip (NEW, per-stage counts, or “Items Served”).
smartphone How guests use it (Client)
- 1The guest opens their order under a “Track order progress” chip.
- 2They see status columns with counts — Ordered → Ready → Served — each item checking off as it advances.
- 3Updates arrive live over a socket, so the screen moves without a refresh.
info Limits & good to know
- chevron_rightAn “In Progress” stage exists but is currently switched off on the client, so guests see a 3-stage flow (Ordered → Ready → Served).
- chevron_rightThe whole status grid can be hidden per business.
- chevron_right“Ordered” is a computed remainder, not a stored status.
- chevron_rightThe admin “Set as Done” button marks the whole order delivered at once; item-by-item steps happen in the KDS/DELZ views.
- chevron_rightExternal (Wolt) delivery orders use their own accept/ready/delivered flow.
