lightbulb What it's for
Guests can type a short custom instruction on any item — “no salt”, “extra crispy”, “well done” — capturing preferences the fixed options don’t cover. The note travels with that exact cart line to the kitchen, and even items with no options can still take one.
settings Set it up (Admin)
- 1No setup needed — it’s a built-in per-item capability in the guest app.
- 2When your staff place an order, the same “Any special requests for this item?” field appears for them too.
smartphone How guests use it (Client)
- 1In an item, the guest taps the special-request area (“Tap inside for a special request”).
- 2A popup (“Let us know how you would like it.”) shows a text box.
- 3They type the request and tap Done — Clear removes it.
