lightbulb What it's for
At a shared dine-in table, a guest can pay just their own order, the whole table, or pick and cover specific friends’ orders. The payment screen lists the other open orders at the table with their totals, sums whatever’s selected, and adds a tip — so a table divides the bill however it likes, without waiting for staff.
settings Set it up (Admin)
- 1Enable self-payments (a connected payment processor) for the business.
- 2Make sure table context is active so same-table orders can be grouped (see Table Selection & Code).
smartphone How guests use it (Client)
- 1From the order tracker, the guest opens the Payment step.
- 2They choose “Pay your order”, “Pay order total”, or “Pay for others”.
- 3For others, they select from the same-table orders, add a tip, and pay.
