lightbulb What it's for
Pin a short, time-sensitive note to a single item without editing its real description — “Without parsley today”, “No lemon today” — so you can keep the dish live instead of hiding it. The note carries an expiry and stops showing by itself once it lapses; guests see it as a small green flag on the item.
settings Set it up (Admin)
- 1In Quick Menu Tasks, open an item and choose “Add a Temp Note”.
- 2Type the note text.
- 3Set an expiration with the date-and-hour picker; after it, the note disappears automatically.
smartphone How guests use it (Client)
- 1Browsing the menu, the guest sees a green flag chip with the note on the item.
- 2The chip text is translated by the AI translator if the guest changed language.
