lightbulb What it's for
At payment, guests can add a gratuity — a preset percentage or a custom amount — on top of their total. For eat-in orders the tip is credited to the waiter assigned to that table, and the guest even sees the waiter’s photo and name. It’s a frictionless, cashless way to reward good service.
settings Set it up (Admin)
- 1Assign a waiter to each table (in Tables) so eat-in orders carry the right person for tip attribution.
- 2Optionally upload each waiter’s photo and name — guests see them on the payment page.
- 3Review collected gratuities in Dashboard → “Waiters Tips” and on the “Tips” page.
- 4There’s no on/off switch — the tip step is always offered at checkout.
smartphone How guests use it (Client)
- 1At payment the guest reaches the Tip step and picks No tip, 10% / 12% / 15% / 20%, or Other (a custom amount).
- 2For eat-in, the assigned waiter’s photo and name are shown so the tip is personal.
- 3The tip is added to the total and carried through to payment.
info Limits & good to know

- chevron_rightPresets are 10 / 12 / 15 / 20% plus a custom amount.
- chevron_rightPercentages are calculated on the amount being paid, which can include others’ share at a shared table.
