lightbulb What it's for
Categories are the sections of your menu. They group items so a guest can find a dish without scrolling past everything you sell, and their order is the order guests browse in. Every menu needs at least one, which is why the wizard treats this step as required.
settings Set it up (Admin)
- 1Open Dashboard → Business Tools → Categories.
- 2Create a category and name it the way a guest would think of it ("Burgers", not "Product group 1").
- 3Optionally give it an image and a colour.
- 4Arrange the categories — their order is exactly the order guests see.
- 5Attach items to the category from the item itself.
smartphone How guests use it (Client)
- 1Categories appear as the top-level sections of the menu.
- 2Tapping one reveals the items inside it.
