Waiters are the floor staff who take and serve orders. Assigning them to tables means an order from table 7 reaches the person actually responsible for table 7, rather than the whole floor at once.
settings Set it up (Admin)
- 1Add each waiter.
- 2Assign them to the tables they are responsible for.
- 3Revisit the assignment when shifts change — it is not fixed at setup.
smartphone How guests use it (Client)
- 1Guests do not see waiter records directly.
- 2Where a venue offers 'call waiter', the request routes using these assignments.
